Action List Review
Compare a draft action list with its source notes. Find missing fields and text that needs a closer look before anyone acts.
Start with the fictional sample below. Its second action deliberately assigns an unsupported owner and deadline.
This tool does not call an AI model, send your entries, or save them to browser storage. Refreshing clears your work and reloads the fictional sample. Download the review to keep it. Use fictional or approved, sanitized notes.
Check the draft.
A text check is a starting point.
The checker looks for the source excerpt in the notes, then for owner and deadline text in that excerpt. It ignores extra whitespace in excerpts and letter case in owner/deadline checks. It checks required fields and the two allowed status labels.
It cannot decide whether a sentence is true, negated, tentative, correctly interpreted, or complete. For example, “Mina did not agree” contains Mina’s name but is not a commitment. A row without flags is never an approval.
- Read the entire source and check the meaning of each action.
- Keep proposals separate from commitments.
- Leave unknown owners and dates unspecified.
- Look for omitted actions and get approval from the responsible person.
