Original AI Teachers practice guide · October 17, 2026. Scenario and results below are hypothetical exercises, not customer outcomes or proof that an automation was run.
Who this lesson helps
Managers, consultants and operations teams. The goal is to leave with one concrete artifact and a clear way to check its quality, not to buy more tools.
Start with a realistic example
Fictional marketing manager: a weekly market scan is useful, but the team does not want unverified competitor claims.
Use only fictional or specifically permitted material. Keep confidential customer information and credentials out of unapproved tools.
Try the working instruction
Copy and adapt
From these fictional notes, create a role card for a research assistant: purpose, permitted sources, exact output, forbidden actions, fact-check steps, escalation triggers, manual fallback, and named human reviewer. Ask about missing details instead of inventing them.
Replace the fictional scenario with your approved context, clearly stating what a good result should contain and which action still requires human approval.
Check before treating it as finished
- Does the assistant have access to only necessary inputs?
- Can a reviewer trace claims to sources?
- What would make the assistant stop?
Run the instruction on a fresh, safe example. If the output is not grounded or actionable, revise the inputs or the acceptance criteria and try again. Review and correction time are part of the cost.
Your finished exercise
A reusable job description and acceptance checklist. Save the artifact with a named owner, a version date, allowed inputs, quality checks and one next test. Nothing in this lesson creates an external scheduled job, sends messages or connects accounts.
